Hi, I'm at the hairdressers this weekend and would like my blonde highlights to look more ashy/silvery blonde than yellow blonde. What should I ask for please?

Yep, an ash toner. Get them to get their colour books out and go for the ashiest tone you can. Invest in some purple shampoo for bringing out the ashiness at home yourself.

This is a really good one. Don't bother with "Touch of Silver", it's rubbish.
