Black jeans, not skinny, not boyfirend

I'm looking for a pair of not-skinny, not-bootcut, black jeans. Boyfriend are too baggy and unflattering. Something in between skinny and boyfriend, fitted but not v tight.

Can someone tell me what I'm looking for or help me with some links??

I bought some straight leg black jeans from Sainsburys and they're great! Such a flattering fit and not too skinny. Only £14 too :)

Dorothy Perkins Ashley straight leg are brilliant. Only £13 at the moment too.

You are looking for men's jeans, slim straight leg. If you have the cash try Levis 511's. They're not cheap though.

I've given up on women's jeans.

Just came on here to recommend the Sainsburys straight leg jeans too. Just the right amount of stretch to make them comfy, but not skinny.

I'm wearing Dotty P Ashley straight legs in black today. I bought 4 pairs when they went to £12 per pair [embarrassed].

Have you looked at Gap Best Girlfriend jeans? They have them in black this season

Gap have a lot of black jeans this season - I have a couple of straight but not skinny pairs from there which fit nicely and have worn well, although I find their range and sizing deeply confusing. Never pay full price as there is always some kind of offer going round!

I bought Gap straight this year. Really nice ...slim but not skinny.

Oops I forgot I had started this thread.Thank you everyone!

I didn't know Gap did real straight in black. Or the girlfriend? They don't often have black. I have other Gap jeans that I like and it's handy to me so I'll try there.

I find it impossible to find anything nice in Dotty P's. But I'll keep them in mind. As the supermarkets -I'm often so delighted to be leaving the supermarket that I forget to look, or just overlook their clothes. And I'm not sure about the men's jeans -I'm a curvy 12, hips and thighs, not sure they'll suit.

Levi 501s are my default for straight jeans; have been for almost 50 years now. I still think they are hard to beat for plain and classic.
