M&S have come through at last!

Wandering through today and for the first time in ages I found LOADS of things I liked. I got houndstooth print trousers and saw some really lovely dresses and coats. Could this finally be the end of our 'nice things from Marks' drought?!

Anyone else seen things they like there in the new collections?

Yes! I bought a tweedy grey long line crombie style coat and an amazing midi skirt that was from- per una! And to price it's actually cool I'm attaching a photo of me wearing it because trust me I would never ever ever go in bloody per una usually!

There are also matching boots- and am considering that they wouldn't be a step too far at all

Yes I agree, just bought a lovely dress for a wedding! Would never have considered m&s for an occasion dress but as you said there were several lovely dresses. I tried on 5 all of which were lovely, settled for a white floral wrap around with red & blue details. Who knew?

I am officially old, too much 80s granny chic for my taste.

YES though just one thing and very basic, but for ages I have been vaguely looking for a plain black v neck jumper that felt nice and didn't cost the earth, and there it was, in the school uniform section for £12. I love it.

I'm coveting a chenille jumper but I'd need to try it on for sizing.

I saw some gorgeous houndstooth trousers in Marble Arch earlier this year but they weren't in any other store I went to, sold out online and when I went back to M/A , gone
