Uniglo coats

Hi I'm looking for a warm light maybe down filled coat and I keep being drawn to uniglo in my googling. I like the simple lines and functionality of them. Has anyone got one, what are they like - would you recommend them? Is there any particular one?

I've got a Uniqlo down parka (hip length) and a longer length stretch down coat (knee length). Love them both, have worn them lots and still look in great condition. The longer one really warm and good for cold, dry days and the hip length one gets taken pretty much everywhere - as it packs into small bag and is just really handy if summer/spring chill in evening and great for Autumn. When REALLY cold, I'll wear under my Didrikson's waterproof parka (helped with -7 weather in Berlin!). I got mine when I think tenner or so off both and wouldn't hesitate to replace at full price. I haven't found that they've shed feathers either. Oh, just remembered, I've got the gilet too - again, really handy, use it loads. The hip length parka is the perfect airplane coat too - use as a pillow or slip on if the aircon too much!

I have two. The ultra light one and the more standard one. I love them both though the thicker one is brown (looks more purple in some lights) and not so keen on the colour.

They are cheap, last well, don't crease and the ultra light stretch one is still really warm- wore it loads last winter.

Both DH and I have 2 of the ultra light down coats. Absolutely love them and they pack down into a tiny little bag. They look great on and wash fine too.

I have lots! Several untra light jackets ( with and without hoods), gilets and an ultralight down coat. All very reasonably priced and have lasted well over a number of winters. I usually buy one or two each season as I can't resist the new colours ! ( latest is a jacket in wine).
