Dreadful shadows under my middle-aged eyes. Need a light weight product to hide the evidence.

Any reasonably priced product recommendations please?

I love Nars Creamy concealer. It's not drying, goes on well and comes in 16 shades. Alternatively, Maybelline eraser eye concealer is good and less expensive.

I've just bought the clarins one in a tube - instant concealer.
It's brilliant. The only one I've used that doesn't settle in fine lines and it does get rid of the dark circles.

Nars creamy concealer

MrsSchadenfreude · 10/09/2017 10:54

I had a Laura Mercier one in a little pot, that was fab. Went to replace, and it's now in a touche eclat style pen with a horrible scratchy sponge applicator, and it's shit.

chickaleta · 10/09/2017 11:07

Super cheapy L'Oréal perfect match.
It's in a pen/brush thing (like touche eclat) so you have to be careful not to put too much on but it does the job for me.

I have a nyx one in a pot, not expensive. I really like it, put it on with a brush, then pat it a bit with a finger.

I like to apply Becca under eyes brightening colour corrector first followed by bye bye eyes (IT Cosmetics) but use sparingly.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/09/2017 13:17

Revlon eye primer- it's a brightner rather than a concealer and is amazing!

PollyPerky · 10/09/2017 14:53

Bobbi Brown new stuff- it's in a tube with a wand. Some people here don't like it but I think it's fine. very light reflective and a few people say they have gone up to a shade darker than they'd normally use.

endehors · 10/09/2017 15:03

Somebody recommended one called Amazing Cosmetics, Amazing concealer. Tiny tube, approx £20, but has lasted months. I'll see if I can find a link. There's a cheap Maybelline concealer isn't bad either, might be the same as mentioned up thread.

EraArils · 10/09/2017 15:57

I use the NYX one under foundation to neutralise the dark circles then I apply the Nars creamy concealer over foundation to brighten the area.

DaisyRenton18 · 10/09/2017 16:24

Bobbi Brown's corrector, followed by concealer and set with powder. Looks like you've slept for weeks & takes a good couple of years off me, I think!
I would give up lipstick before I gave up these.

tehmina23 · 10/09/2017 16:59

I like Clinique's lightening under eye concealer, sorry I can't remember the product name or price though but a Clinique counter rep would know
