Where does my makeup go?

Seriously. This morning I put on primer (benefit) followed by foundation Liz Earle), powder (benefit), blusher (benefit) By the time I arrived at work it had gone. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried using a setting spray? Mine lasts much longer with a setting spray, I'm yet to find one that makes it remain perfect all day though!

I haven't but am loathe to spend money on yet another product that doesn't work. Maybe I'm just extra sweaty......

Do you wait 10 minutes after moisturizer before applying make up? Do you use brushes to apply your make up?

I really rate NYX setting spray and it's not much north of a fiver. Tried a very spendy one in Space NK that had been recommended in the Graun but it made me look as though I was auditioning for the part of the Tin Man.

Thanks for the replies. I do moisturise first but use an oil although it generally must be at least 30 mins before I then add makeup

And also use brushes. Where do you get the NYX setting spray?

Some days it better than others. Is it literally a case of sweatiness vs makeup?

A larger Boots will have it and maybe Superdrug stock it too. A cheap brand that punches well above its weight.

I've started mixing my foundation (doublewear) with my primer (smashbox) and I don't know why but it seems to look and last much better and longer. I also tried baking my face too with loose powder and that definitely helped. I use coty airspun

Use a damp beauty blender to apply everything, even powder. Bounce it onto your face, don't swipe or rub. Use a setting spray, and a sticky primer. Jelly Pack by J One is great.
