Black skirts and white shirts

I start a new job soon and they have a dress code that states I need to wear a black skirt and white shirt. I don't particularly want a pencil style skirt as they always seem to make my tummy look even more big but can't for the life of me find a decent flared or A-line style skirt. Has anyone got any ideas? It can't have a print, just has to be plain black. All my usual shops only really do prints.

And if anyone knows anywhere that does a nice shirt for the bigger busted other than Pepperberry I would very much appreciate that too!

Thanks

Is it the gape with the shirts? I'm booby so I sew the fronts behind the buttons, where you can't see. Then I pull them over my head.
Would wrap shirts or half buttoned be allowed?

It is the gapping yeah. Bloody boobs. I quite like wrap style stuff but I think it has to be a shirt from what I've seen. Soooo boring

Can you wear a white vest under the shirt?

ReachOutAndTouchDave · 08/09/2017 12:53

That could be a solution, I have a couple of cami style things I could wear.

I like (whispers) M&S for shirts. They pop in the extra button on the inside to stop the gaping that's happens if you have boobs.

Yes I've looked at M&S and they do a shirt for -ahem- fuller busts. So they might be my shirt shop. Just need some none-ugly black skirts now Grin

Just got a lovely white shirt for work from sezane. I got the cotton version but they have silk ones too (if you like handwashing)!

If you're quite small - what about school uniform skirts?

Ahhhh those are perfect, thanks all. Typically I like the pricier ones of course!
Thanks again, only just seen the posts for some reason, thought it was emailing me updates but I've missed them.

H&M do great shirts as well, they do similar to what a PP mentioned with m&s shirts, sewing extra buttons inside so they don't gape Smile I had a lovely black shirt from there a few weeks ago
