Jeans

Please help! I've lost a little bit of weight recently and I could do with a pair of jeans that I'm not forever hoiking up, however, I'm completely lost at where to start.

I'm 39, just shy of 5ft 7, 10st 5 and pear shaped. I cycle and run and have legs that reflect that. Many a time I've been in top shop and been unable to actually pull the jeans over my legs. I've had a couple of good pairs from boden but their current offerings don't set me alight.

Is there anywhere else to try? And skinnies still, or straight leg? Don't mind paying boden type prices but I don't want to spend a fortune.

Thanks

H&M does a range called 'shaping' that I've found contain enough stretch to accommodate hips and thighs without going baggy. They're £40 a pop, so not pricey at all.

Next's 360 jeans are pretty good, too, and a similar price.

I am chunky of calf and thigh and arse but with a small waist, I have been wearing Topshop boutique boyfriend jeans religiously for a while now. They aren't too baggy and are really flattering on a pear shape. They are £55, 100% cotton and come in four colour ways (I have three of them) you should size down though, my measurements are currently closer to a 10 but I have them in a size 6 and I have room to breathe.

oo great, they sound promising I'll have a look at the H and M ones and the top shop ones. I'm too pear shaped for next, I can normally get extra couple of fists in at the waist!

I'm wearing M and S super skinny high waisted jeans. I am pear shped as well and find high waisted jeans far more comfortable as they don't cut into the widest part of me when I sit down. They don't need hoiking up all the time either.

Thank you all, lots to go on there.

My Mum is wearing M and S skinnies Smile. I should take that as a recommendation I suppose!
