What age range is Apricot clothing aimed at?

I know that shouldn't matter but I just wondered what age range the clothing is aimed at. I'm 49.

The one dress I have bought from Apricot was rather short on first trying on, and very short once it had shrunk in the wash! Tried to convince myself it was okay with thick woolly tights until it started to unravel at the hem too.

I might've been unlucky...but I think it is throw away fashion, that only stands up to being worn a few times, really.

Is that the range that's sold in New Look?

Sorry - my post was about quality rather than age range. I'm 29 and a few of the styles appeal to me, if that helps, but I won't buy from there again. I'd rather spend more money less often on better clothes - but that's not for everyone, or an option for everyone, I realise.

Yes, Earless, I've checked and I think it's the same line - though I bought from their online site: www.apricotonline.co.uk

New Look itself is aimed at 15-50 (though I'd say a lot of it is more than suitable if you're older too).

I used to work there and I'd say the Apricot stuff was probably aimed a little older than the main target audience as it's fairly classic shapes (and more flattering than all the body con stuff in Parisian/AX Paris which is aimed more at 15-30), often with a 50s inspiration.

I really liked their dresses and cardigans and bought quite a few when I worked there. Quality was fine, better than some other concession brands in store.

I've got a couple of tops and a dress from there. I'm 55. Their stuff is cheap and cheerful but a bit different and some is cut quite well
