Going to try minimalist dressing. Anyone else?

I've been reading a lot about minimalist dressing lately, and watching Youtube videos on the subject and am going to give it a try. For two reasons; firstly I want to cut down on the 'stuff' we have and secondly because I am rubbish at making decisions especially what to wear each day, so the idea of not even having to think about what to wear sounds like bliss!

So, for everyday wear (I work from home BTW so don't need any corporate wear), I am going to either wear my black skinny jeans, my blue distressed skinny jeans or faux leather leggings, with a black vest top and then one of the two black jumpers that I own over the top. Worn with either trainers or ankle boots. I also have various statement type necklaces so will rotate those.

I have then chosen two simple dresses out of my wardrobe, one in black and one white to wear for any occasions when I need something smarter.

We're going on holiday soon to a warm climate so I'm going to take black vest tops, denim shorts, a denim skirt, and the dresses.

Has anyone else gone for minimalist dressing or does anyone else fancy giving it a go?

I expect it depends what you are used to. I usually have two pairs of (casual) trousers for work, which i alternate. Each morning i take the next top from the rail, i have enough tops to keep going for a fortnight without washing. Jacket according to season, cropped leather today, since you asked. Come to think of it, thats what i wear out of the office, too.

One good frock, plus accessories for weddings etc. One evening dress, gold sandals.

Simples.
