Label says handwash only but will I get away with putting it on a wool wash in the machine?

It's my absolute favourite thing at the moment so don't want to ruin it but equally I bloody hate handwashing It's a pain in the arse and stuff never feels properly clean afterwards.

Should I risk a wool wash?

I'd probably hand wash it the first time to see how it copes. I'd wash it inside a net bag and then give it a rinse and short spin, still in the bag.

That's my plan for mine, anyway! Sometimes I think it's the detergent in the machine they don't like, whereas I'd use woolite to hand wash. And experience tells me my machine will implode with woolite in it.

Use a delicate silk wash and wash on a hand wash setting .. what will make your machine explode in woolite ?

The pink Woolite is fine in the machine ime. Just don't use loads.

I wash all my jumpers in the machine on a short 30 degree cycle and I haven't ruined any.

I wash mine in the machine on a hand wash cycle and they have been absolutely fine.

I had foam coming out of the door seal and meandering across the kitchen floor...

What is this woolite you speak of?

I'm not sure if my machine has a handwash cycle. I definitely have a wool one; is that the same?
