Shoes to go with pencil skirts?

I have a couple of knee length Jersey pencil skirts and none of my current shoes or boots to with them. I can't walk in high heels so court shoes are out. I have knee length brown suede boots, mid calf biker boots and brogues and they all look wrong. Please tell me what you wear with pencil skirts if you can't wear heels.

My loafers look ok with pencil skirts.

Block heel ankle boots, high but more stable than stiletto heels...?

Oh no please don't wear loafers or flat boots with pencil skirts!!

Ankle boots

Forgot to add I have a pair of grey suede wedge ankle boots which probably go the best of everything I've got but look a bit clumpy and hoof like! I think the problem is that I'm quite short and these skirts are on or just below the knee. With shorter fitted skirts (above the knee) I can wear brogues and opaques without it looking frumpy.

I bet those grey wedge ankle boots would be perfect...clumpy looks good with tight pencil skirts!

Wedge heel courts with pencil skirts, then I can run comfortably.

I have some suede ankle boots with a slight platform. They are close fitting at the ankle and look nice with opaque tights and slim skirts and dresses. I don't think boots that are wide at the ankle look that good with narrow skirts.

I've also got some ankle strap pumps with a blocky heel that I love and go with all skirts and dresses.
