I have hair that is below my shoulders with layers at the front. Naturally it is dark brown that trend to red when it has had sunlight.
I've now twice had balayage done. It wasn't done that well the second time and now feels more like ombré which isn't what I wanted. The last time was about 3 months ago. The coloured bits are pretty light coloured and I would like them to go darker - not my natural colour but darker than now so it looks more natural. Can I just put a semi perm colour over it? I am really short on time so it would be a stretch to get to a salon to get it done so home colour would be ideal.
Also looking in Boots there seems to be a big jump in semi perm colours between blondes and browns - something like a darkish caramel would be good. Am I missing something?
