Just got a bit shocked by how old and tired I look in my holiday photos (I usually avoid the camera, but we went on holiday with another couple, so there were more than usual...). And I have the skincare routine of a fresh faced student, rather than a forty year old mother of two. I basically have no clue.
So, my skin is very dry, slightly sensitive, red pink undertones, fine lines everywhere but worse on my forehead. Currently I just use superdrug's vitamin e range, hot cloth wash, serum, moisturizer. Sometimes the nip and fab pads. Not completely consistent about any of these things, but getting better. Pre holiday I bought some stuff from the Ordinary (buffet serum), but I have to say I didn't notice much difference.
I'm on a bit of a budget, but am prepared to invest a bit more, and certainly more time into things, with a view to not wanting to cry when I see Christmas photos. Any ideas on where to start? Please feel free to assume I know nothing. Does drinking loads of water really make a difference? I'm pretty bad at that for a start....
