So bloody excited for the new season of Doctor Foster tonight, mainly because I absolutely LOVE the styling in it.

Am I right in thinking that last time it was on there was someone on here that was part of the buying team?

I can't wait either! I think you're thinking of 'The replacement' that thread was fantastic.

Teddy1970 · 05/09/2017 21:39

Argh! What the hell? He's happy and settled? I wanted him to suffer!

MuchasSmoochas · 05/09/2017 21:41

Yes you're right the stylist came on and said she was doing Dr Foster. I'll be watching it on catch up, looking forward to seeing the style. Maybe she'll come back!

Catherine0317 · 05/09/2017 21:50

The wine dress is fab!! Anyone know where it's from..?

dancingqueen345 · 05/09/2017 21:59

I want to punch him in the face, smug bastard!

Ercol chairs.

Gillybobs · 06/09/2017 08:41

Loved the wine dress

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/09/2017 08:47

Her shoes were dire, the black ones for the party looked so bad with her dress and those nude pink things she wrote later were shockingly badShock

And don't get me started on her weird, floppy fringe thing going on!

I can't think of anything stylish about any of it.

Sorry. Bit harsh Grin

lightgreenglass · 06/09/2017 08:55

I think that's deliberate though as she took her hair bobble out at the end like I'm back and I'm not cowering under my shit fringe anymore.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/09/2017 08:59

Probably. It was really shit though Grin

Paintbox · 06/09/2017 09:17

I agree re the shoes, they were all awful

Doublejeopardy · 06/09/2017 09:21

Yes the shoes were dire I actually couldn't concentrate the shoes kept distracting me

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/09/2017 09:47

Me tooGrin

Twelvety · 06/09/2017 14:16

I sort of liked that they were flatter - I hate tv dramas where the women all stride round in ridiculous shoes, supposedly all day. But they were a bit fugly, unfortunately.

JanetStWalker · 06/09/2017 14:35

Love, love, love the show - I want to see her destroy him! Blush

Not so keen on her wardrobe though, even that smug prick commented about her old blouse...I smell a style reinvention in Dr Foster's future. Wink

Screamer1 · 06/09/2017 14:46

Clothes are all a bit Reiss no?

PerfumeIsAMessage · 06/09/2017 16:02

I was wtf when she put a black jacket on over the blue silky frock and then teamed it with what looked like 70s style old fashioned stilettoes.
I loved her beige soft mac in series 1.

Openup41 · 06/09/2017 17:22

I liked her dresses.

The blue dress needed more of a classier heel and the pale pink pumps did not complement the length and style of the plum dress.

She has a nice figure though. She has really slimmed down.

Nettletheelf · 06/09/2017 17:25

Christ, the shoes! The pink ones looked like something Princess Margaret would have worn. I couldn't keep my eyes off them. The other ones looked like what I call 'amateur heels': trying to be heels but a bit tentative, in case the heels upset anybody.

I'm hoping that Gemma's dreadful footwear is there as a symbol of her being stuck in a rut and feeling downtrodden, and that she emerges in six inch vixen heels to do her hell hath no fury bit.

Circumlocutor · 06/09/2017 17:29

The shoes were bad. Either go for cool heels or cool flats. Those in betweeny things are just ugly.

JanetStWalker · 06/09/2017 19:20

Nowt worse than apologetic heels. Commit, woman!

MyBrilliantDisguise · 20/09/2017 23:26

Yes, but that was the point, wasn't it? She hadn't got over her marriage ending and had become dull and stale - she hadn't moved on. I think in series 2 we will see her change.
