I'm visiting London next month and would love to spend a few hours visiting some charity shops in the hope of picking up a designer bargain. Where do I need to go ?
Or am I wasting my time.

I think Streatham is brilliant for charity shops, specially the All Aboard and a couple of local hospice ones near Streatham hill station.

Oxfam on Marylebone high st used to be quite good. Not been therefor ages though.

Wimbledon Village is usually worth a look too.

The Red Cross one off the king's road has designer stuff, but you won't get stuff mega cheap there.

Pick a fancy area and go trawling! I'm so jealous, this is my ideal day out! Knightsbridge / Chelsea for proper top end designer stuff but Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Islington are good yummy mummy areas too.

Change of Heart in Crouch End is good. Has a mix of designer gear and higher-end high street stuff.

Barnardos in South Woodford usually has some pretty good stuff. Get regular drop offs of BNIB J Crew shoes and Vivienne Westwood. Usually Hugo boss too.

My SIL rocked up wearing a couture VW dress that she'd bagged for £50.

My aunty does all her shopping in the charity shops on the kings road, she looks amazing all the time!
