What to wear to court?

Ex is taking me to court in our divorce. It's not until November and I probably should have far more important things to think about rather than what I'll be wearing but hey, it's a distraction Grin

Obviously I want to look smart and a little bit of me wants to stick two fingers up to him in a 'I'm not the screwed up mess that you reduced me to when you left me' kind of way petty

I'm petite, size 6 and 5' tall. Any ideas?

Don't wear a suit, you will look like a lawyer. You should rock something that makes you feel fabulous. Straight leg trousers, heels, a swishy scarf and cool blazer would look appropriate and not too stuffy. Just avoid jeans, trainers and scruffy coats.

I agree not to wear a suit.
And don't try TOO hard because the whole court will be thinking 'she's totally not over him'

Wear something you feel comfortable in. Ob not jeans but you need to feel like YOU. . Good luck op. .

No, I'd never wear jeans! And I definitely don't want anyone to think I'm not over him because I 100% am...I'm fuming that he's dragging this through the courts and costing me tens of thousands in the process. Definitely no fond feelings left for him now!

Cool blazer you say. Any links to one? I've got a black blazer but with black trousers it'll be a suit won't it?
