Comfy Chelsea boots for under £50?

Am I dreaming? I've just got a new job and ideally I need brown Chelsea boots to go with the uniform, but I have delicate (read: irritating) feet so they need to be quite cushioned and comfy or all hell will break loose! Should I be looking at cheap ones and splashing out on insoles?? Any help would be very appreciated!

I bought some from asos a few years ago and they're still going strong

If you can stretch to £65 Clarks do some fantastic cushioned ones called Taylor Shine.

Mumtonoah5 · 04/09/2017 16:01

Sainsbury's! Get mine there every year

I was looking at the Taylor Shine! May have to hold out until next payday but good to know they're cushioned Smile will check ASOS and Sainsbury's too!

There are lovely in the flesh. May be too tan rather than brown? They are quite dark.

The Sainsbury's ones are lovely but they don't do 6.5 and the 6 and 7 don't fit me.

I've ordered the Clarks Taylor Shine ones with 20% off so £52 with the code BTS17. Hoping they will fit and be lovely.

Next have some for around £50

I got pair from newlook, lasted well and comfy.

I tried the sainsburys comfort ones today but they were too small for me. I was disappointed as the sole was lovely and they did not look like old lady boots, which was a result. I tried another sainsburys "comfort" style and had the same issue. Their normal boots fitted fine, but I didn't like them.. I am always a size six everywhere except for one pair of asos sale shoes - anyone want a size 5/6 pair of leopard skin vans style shoes! 😆
Is it worth holding out for the size seven when it comes into stock/ordering online or is a whole size up too much?

Boden have some nice ones in tan or navy in their children's range. Much cheaper than the adult range. I'm quite tempted.

I've just bought a pair of Dr Martens Chelsea boots from Cloggs - they had a 20% discount code and were reduced anyway, so they only cost £38 (originally £120!). They're really quite smart - more like ankle length riding boots really - and are so comfy.

The Clarks ones are an odd pale toffee shade and too big so they're going back.

I found the Sainsburys 7 was too big for even thick socks or an insole but the 6 almost fit and I'm def a 6.5 normally.
