Toner

Does anyone still use toner after cleansing. I can't seem to find any in the supermarkets any more and l love my toner for cleaning up the back of my ears and the back of my neck. Has this micellar (sp) water replaced toner. Do you use that instead and if so, do you still use a cleansing lotion?

I don't like micellar water-it doesn't do anything for me at all.

I use a toner from REN via m and s. It's brilliant.

Don't see the point in toning unless it's an exfoliating toner like Pixi Glow tonic or similar

Double cleanse should remove all makeup and get skin squeaky clean.

Ren. Pixi glow tonic. Nip Fab extreme pads. First aid beauty radiance pads. Clarins brightening toner.

But really, you should be using your cleanser to clean. Toners are for exfoliation.

I use a flannel for a hot cloth cleanse to get into the spots you mention

I still use an exfoliating toner - the Clinique clarifying lotion 3 although it is starting to dry me out a bit.

There aren't as many as there used to be - it's more about acid use, glycolic/lactic/salycilic whichever suits your needs

I cleanse then use either toner or micellar water (whichever's on offer). I don't know what the difference is between the two, but they both seem to do the job, so I don't care if I'm using them incorrectly. I recently bought some L'Oreal Skin Perfection Velvety Soft Toner which I really like.

Got a Simple toner. I think it's just years of habit with me that I feel I can't do without it! Might need to change my cleansing routine.
