Fraxel laser for acne scars

Have been seeing a dermatologist for acne and finally it has cleared up. Next stage: dealing with the (rolling) scarring. Thinking of going for fraxel laser but was wondering whether any of you have had it done and if so, would you recommend it? Or any tips?

Any other methods people have used? Have tried microneedling but only had 3 goes which apparently wasn't enough and I also wasn't using retinoids at the time to stimulate collagen and prep...
