Hair claw clips ??

I want to wear my hair up off my face because I don't like it in the way and it's not thick enough to carry off a nice style when worn down so I want to clip it up. But I always feel claw clips look a bit tacky or naff, are there any to avoid or ones I should go for? I want them to reliably keep my hair in place whilst not commiting a massive fashion faux pas!!

Sorry I know it's boring but anyone???

I feel the same about claw clips - I use them round the house or when i' doing my make up but not out and about

I use the small claw clips often, divide hair into two, twist up and clip on each side, or just one for a messy-type bun. I don't like the massive clips, personal preference. I mainly do this to keep long hair out of the way, otherwise I wear it down.

Good old fashioned hair grips, colour to match hair, if you don't like the grips.
