5ft4 ish, size 10, larger of thigh than of calf and wanting to avoid the parsnip leg look...which jeans? Thanks! :)

Another parsnip here. I wear straight jeans/trousers. I wear skinnies in winter, when I can wear longer tops or cardis to hide the tops of my parsnips. I've always called them turkey legs, but if now prefer parsnip!

I'm a parsnip too. Or rather my pins are Grin

I think the point about all women having larger thighs than calves is valid, but for those of us with parsnip proportions it means the ratio is imbalanced so the thigh region can be waaaayyy bigger than the calf, as per a parsnip.

I also have a weird knee region so my thigh just sort of becomes calf with no obvious definition in between and that makes jeans look worse. But I have a decent hourglass shape so I go for fitted tops to show my waist & hope people don't notice the chunky thighs. I find skinnies no less flattering than any other jean shape so I just go for what feels comfy
