Best treatment for under eye wrinkles and crows feet

Hi

I'm looking for opinions and experiences around the best treatment for under eye wrinkles and crows feet.

I've had a particularly stressful few years and its showing pretty badly around and under my eyes, particularly bad when I smile!
I'm 38, and am a bit sad that I'm having to consider this so early, but I need to do something about it.

So - Botox? Laser resurfacing? Fillers?

I'm clueless!
Thanks in advanceSmile

I've had Botox a couple of times but didn't like it. Found first time it affected my eyes so I struggled to put eye make up on. Second time was supposed to be lighter and seemed better but I ended up with a funny crease above one eyelid. That was Botox in forehead and a little I crows feet.

I had fillers in my cheeks to lift them and I did like that.

I have had couple of courses of CACI facials a few times and I keep going back to that. Electrical current. Much less invasive. They recommend a course of ten over five weeks or so. Then one a month. Maybe try one and see if you like it. They can concentrate on areas. Do a lot of jowl work for me now. One salon near me does CACI eye treatments on their own.

Thanks for your replySmile

Touch wood at this point, the rest of my skin is ok ish, its just the lines under my eyes that are prominent.

Botox does worry me when I hear reports of funny creases or drooping eyes ..

Perhaps the acid type treatments would be less risky?

Botox worked well with crows feet for me (3 areas - forehead, between eyebrows and crows feet).

Haven't had any treatment for under eyes - which are not so much wrinkled but sunken and dark (always had under eye circles - the sunken look though is new). So watching with interest).

I hear tear trough fillers are the solution for sunken eyes (I have these too!) But as I understand it, its a fairly big procedure and I'm not ready for that yet!

A retinoid. Either OTC (takes longer to work) or pay to see a derm for prescription for retin A (works quicker). Stimulates collagen production so will help erase lines and prevent future ones.

Chickens - do you know what is involved with tear trough fillers?

Polly99 · 02/09/2017 09:50

Tear trough treatment involves injecting hyaluronic acid as a filler under the eye. I am contemplating it myself (although currently in weight-loss mode so waiting until my face settles down following that). It doesn't sound terrible scary or invasive. Just have to find someone decent to do it!

Watching this. My eye area really aged faster than the rest of my face

Dermalmd under eye treatment serum has so helped the wrinkles and crows feet around and under my eyes and also the bags under my eyes which have suddenly become a daily thing. As soon as I used it I could feel a tightening, and over time it has lessened the wrinkles, and the dark circles too. I have I would say, normal, skin, and I have had no issues with any itching or burning. It has a pleasant smell too, and you only need to use a little so this should last me a bit of time.
