Replacing Oakley lenses, any recommendations?

I have a pair of Oakley sunglasses that are 2 years old and I love them! Fortunately due to children pulling on them (and probably me not caring for them perfectly! ) they are really scratched on the lens coating is coming away from the edges. I'd love to get the lens replaced but wouldn't know who to trust and also is it worth the cost? Has anyone done this ?

Not with Oakley but Ferre sunglasses - specsavers replaced lenses with prescription tinted ones with the caveat that if the frames broke whilst trying to fit then tough (they didn't). Well worth a punt imo.

Thanks Donkey I wear contact lenses 99% of time so do you reckon they'd do plain nonprescription lenses?

I would take them and pop in to your nearest branch and ask. I found asking 'nicely' very effective. Or as you wear contacts ask at your opticians? As I said, worth a punt.

I'm with Specsavers for lenses so I'll give it a whirl! Thanks

Oakley customer service is excellent and do offer to repair for not much cost.

Oakley offer a service where you post your glasses back and they'll do new lenses and a full refurb. iIRC it's good value and very efficient.

Useful info there, thanks you two.
