Surely? I was browsing the JL sale and found this FC dress. The photos for each of the 4 colours are awful: terrible skin tone, baggy dress hanging off the model, the shoes too big and they look really cheap. No wonder it's in the sale!

Agree, it looks like a hospital gown.

I quite like it. It's a simple yet smart summer dress. Don't get the shock horror at all. Agree that the model looks a bit crap in it due to her odd stance though

I don't see anything wrong with the dress but yes the model is not selling it. She reminds me of Marge off of dame Edna.

Often models aren't actually the best shape for clothes cut for women to wear. Add a stone to her & the dress will look fine. FC clothes are much too big for my dds, they'd have to be taken in a huge amount so they don't even go in.

Thats a perfectly ordinary plain dress. If the brand was Hobbs, Coast, Jaeger you wouldn't bat an eyelid, and it would be exactly the dress customers of those shops would snap up at full price, probably for work.

You are right in that it's not a typical dress for French Connection though. I associate their clothes with being quite dressy and glam even for day wear. Or if you're looking for a wedding type event or dressy night out. I think the same of Karen Millen.

It could have been a nice dress but it clearly doesn't fit the model, it's possible that the cut of the dress is all wrong.

There's a whole lot worse out there. I don't get why you've singled this dress out. The shoes aren't too big either.
