Tights with navy clothes?

I have a navy skirt and dress that is like to wear to work. I have some navy suede loafers that are so comfy, considering some tan ankle boots for when winter is here. But what colour tights?

Navy seems too much and no doubt the skirt, tights and shoes will all be different shades. I can't wear nude as I never get the right shade. I love a 60 denier or more so I don't need to worry about shaving my legs.

Forgot to say- the reason I ask, is black and navy to be avoided?

I have this dilema today! I think I will wear black tights. last year I wore a navy dress shoes and tights and felt like violet Beauregarde.

Strange as it sounds mustard works well with navy - but that may just be my skewed opinion.

Purple, red (on some outfits), mustard, maroon, black, dark green. Most colours should go it's the tone of the course that determines it best.

I'd go black shoes and black tights or grey/maroon if all navy including shoes.

I wear a navy uniform for work and always wear black tights. Or bare legs in summer.

Ah, so black with black shoes will work. That will probably be my default then.

I'll keep the navy shoes to wear with navy trousers then- that does look good.

I've just bought a mustard top, agree it's a good combination, but it really washes me out- I think my skin tone is too yellowey.

I like the idea of dark green or maroon. Will have a look on google images later to see how it looks.
