Trousers like this for chunky thighs?

I'm currently pregnant with twins, it's still early days but I'm expanding rapidly and need some new clothes!

With my last pregnancy I hated all maternity jeans, they just weren't comfy no matter which brand/style I tried. I'm looking at alternatives and have come across these, I'm 5ft 3 and a size 14 so not the slimmest of legs.

Will they look daft? I'm worried about emphasising my thighs too much although the soon to be giant bump may take some attention away or does anyone else have any recommendations?? Thank you!

I've just realised the picture isn't too clear, they are like a stretchy peg leg style trouser

I'm a size 16 with thighs that could crush skulls Wink and I love that trouser shape. So comfy and looks nice on a curvy lower body shape. To be honest there are no trousers on earth that are going to make my thighs and bum look anything other than ridiculously curvy so I just go with it and wear whatever trousers I think look good.

Thank you @KnitFastDieWarm, that's just what I wanted to hear!

I was a size 18 when I was pregnant last winter and I'm 5 foot 4, I have to wear black for work and lived in an identical pair of trousers to these! Super comfy and looked fine.

Congrats!

Congratulations on your pregnancy, OP.
Maternity jeans these days. Why are they always skinny? 😡
I'd say wear whatever you like and feel comfortable wearing! I ended up having yoga pant style trousers in both my pregnancies. I seem to have retained a bit of weight all over but my thighs have now made it difficult to wear any trousers without elastane.

The ones in the photo look quite good, actually.
