Would these look ok with ankle length work trousers?

I never manage to get the work and boot thing right but saw these. Will they go with slim leg ankle length black trousers?

I doubt it. The lengths of both items will clash, and these boots are solid winter and ankle length trousers are transitional (spring/autumn). I wouldn't wear any kind of boot with ankle skimmers, shoes only, otherwise it just looks wrong.

I think you need to see some leg/ankle for it to work - can you order/try them together to see how it looks?
