What coats are you buying?

I need a new winter coats. I'm not a Joules lover generally but i bought my last one there. And it lasted well for a couple of years. I want warm over waterproof. Hidden hood maybe. Autumn tones (browns, greens, oranges etc).

Please can I nose at what you've been buying! 😄

I'm going to invest in a full length Ilse Jacobsen one as I'm moving north 😀

1950s vintage princess coat, complete with nipped waist, HUGE turn-up lapels and incredibly warm and toasty. Expensive but so worth it!

Basically this but in plain dark brown.

I like that miffy- also like outfit model is wearing, m&is have some nice things in at the mo. It's a shame my local store is so pants

It is really nice on, I tried it at the weekend. A modern twist on a classic coat design, IMO. Not the style of coat I usually go for, but I am trying to get away from the puffa/parka winter coat style :)

Hello! It's a brand from the 1950s called Lilli Ann - they are relatively rare but type in "Lilli Ann princess coat" on eBay or etsy and you will see some come up - and they constantly come on the market (be prepared to pay a fair amount of money but the workmanship is superb :) )

And I've bought a Ralph Lauren coat in navy with tan leather trim. It's like a waterproof trench with a hood.

Max mara coats, they cost a lot but good quality.
