A rigid sleeve/bag for a MacBook? Can only find fabric ones.

As above! I can find hard shells that you clip on to the laptop and soft fabric sleeves to put it in, but what I'm after is a hard shell, maybe with a zip? Does such a thing exist?

Thule is the make that you need, brilliant hard shell cases. You can find them on Amazon and John Lewis - well worth the extra!

I liked the look of the Thule one, but thought it might be a bit bulky for everyday use. I put mine in a neoprene sleeve inside my laptop bag, double protection.

Ha, snap!

Ha!

Yes, they are definitely more bulky but v tough. Most reliable hard case I reckon!

The zip on my Thule case broke after about a year, but it took a hammering.

I'd still recommend it, and really need to repurchase one for mine.

Thank you! Thule looks good but I have an irrational hatred of black and grey cases so I'm off to Google for a colourful one Grin

I have an acme made one (this one) and it's a great compromise between a bit of rigidity and very little bulk.
