Babyliss big hair

I have one of these and love it. Use it around once a week for bouncy 'done' hair

But... (of course there's s but) how long should it last for? Ive had it a couple of years and it's definitely on it's way out. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I thought it'd get a bit longer out of it.

Has anyone else found the same?

Use once a week for 2 years sounds pretty good
I had one I didn't use that often and it died around 2 years in.

I'm more interested in the fact you can achieve nice bouncy hair with the thing! It turns my average hair into a mass of unsightly frizzy, dry, split-ends.
