Is a leather jacket too structured for me? (AKA 'yet another leather jacket thread')

I have always wanted a leather jacket (determined to look like a Helen Mirren one day soon). But I'm not a sharp, structured dresser. I prefer harem's to jeans, dresses to pencil skirts, trainers to just about any other type of footwear. I also don't have perfect posture due to an accident, so I'm a bit lop sided and have a slight stoop. I also have a vast pair of norks. A loose jersey blazer is certainly more forgiving both to my style and my posture. But...I want a lovely leather jacket. What do you think? Should I embrace the parka or get a leather jacket?

And I didn't put that bloody apostrophe in harems, either!

You need one without the off-centre zip and flappy bits at the front. The softer the better.
