Please help me pick a skirt!

I've bought two skirts but can only keep one - except I can't decide which one. Not sure what I'd wear it for, probably going out with friends or a meal to celebrate a family event. What would I wear it with?

I like the first, floaty one. Where's it from?

Sparkletastic · 28/08/2017 12:26

They both like great but I marginally prefer skirt a.
Are you sure you can't keep both Wink

Creatureofthenight · 28/08/2017 12:26

Keep the first one.

BikeRunSki · 28/08/2017 12:29

First one.

Loyly · 28/08/2017 12:29

First one.

ZippyCameBack · 28/08/2017 12:30

I like the second one best, but it would depend on the placement of the roses on the back (if any).

CaseStudyResearch · 28/08/2017 12:31

Which one goes best with tops etc that you already own?

I'd keep whichever one you can get 3-4 outfits out of, without having to buy anything new. If you can't make up a couple of outfits with your pre-existing wardrobe, then are either worth keeping?

Janika · 28/08/2017 12:36

First one looks loads comfier and can be dressed up or down.

Summerswallow · 28/08/2017 12:37

Both are nice, I don't know your age, but the first looks a bit frumpy to me ,or it could do depending on the top it is paired with- it would be pretty with a strappy black top. I prefer the second one partly because I think it could go with more covered up but tighter tops, but I do tend to prefer tighter clothes if you have a great figure, which you do, but that's a personal preference thing.

NashvilleQueen · 28/08/2017 12:41

I agree the first one is frumpy looking IMO. But it's a matter of taste of course.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/08/2017 14:22

I like both and they both suit you. They are very different too, so if you could possibly afford both, I'd be tempted to keep both!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/08/2017 14:22

And the first doesn't look 'frumpy' at all - it's lovely and goes really nicely with those shoes.

wherehasthesummergone · 28/08/2017 14:36

Thank you for your help, sounds like the overall consensus is the first one! I feel most comfortable in it too. My wardrobe in general needs a revamp so I'd need to buy a top to go with either skirt, what would be best? I was thinking a black one like summer suggested. What could I wear to cover up though, in case I'm cold.

Fruitcocktail They're both from Oasis.

Biker jacket or denim jacket? You'd be taking it off indoors anyway, so it doesn't really matter. The skirt would also look nice with a black turtle neck and ankle boots when the weather is cooler too.

Tiedie · 28/08/2017 17:53

They both look great on you, but first one for me too. I'd get bored of the second one faster, and I'd fear it would date sooner.
