Hi there!

Any product recommendations to improve skins texture before I drop £100 on drunk elephant please? 😊😊 thanks!

I suppose it depends what you mean by texture - is your skin congested? Does it need exfoliation? Is it dehydrated?

If you're looking at the TLC Framboos I'm guessing you want to refine/exfoliate the upper surface layer, so basically a Glycolic/AHA product. The Ordinary 7% Glycolic toner or Alpha-H Liquid Gold would be the more obvious and cheaper alternatives. Personally I use the Biologique Recherche P50 (not exactly cheap but not ridiculously priced either and worth all the buzz IMO, start with the W version though) and find it to be the best thing for getting that smooth upper layer to aid cell turnover. As mentioned above if it's congestion and/or spots you're dealing with then a BHA is the better option.

Remember wearing SPF daily is everything with these products, without it you're more likely to do harm than good. Not everyone reacts well to Glycolic acid, look at Lactic or a PHA (like P50) instead if that's the case.

I've been using The Ordinary products for nearly 8 weeks now. I love the Hyaluronic Acid for hydration, Buffet, a gentle Vit C and Rosehip Oil.

I love all of them - and they're more for anti ageing than texture - but I highly recommend the HA. My skin is so much softer now it's better hydrated. La Roche Posay Hydraphase serum is also lovely and Hadalabo JAPAN Skin Institute Gokujun premium hyaluronic solution 170ml is also highly recommended- its even cheaper than the Ordinary one. I'm waiting for my order.
