Colour Wow root cover

Anybody tried this? Have darkish dyed brown hair that I have done every 3 weeks. As grey starts showing through it's mostly only visible along my central parting so need something to put on this to cover it.

Colour Wow looks impressive on You Tube videos though expensive. Anyone used it? And how dark is the dark brown?

Yes, it's great for postponing the recolour by a couple of weeks. The colour is darker than you'd expect - I have dark brown hair with highlights, and I use the light brown.

The cheaper alternatives on Amazon and EBay are ok as well if you don't want to shell out the £'s for Colour Wow. Just put 'root cover up' in the search bar.

I use Clairol root touch up which works out cheaper as it lasts a few washes or loreal Magic for a quick fix.

Amazon sell W7 root concealer powder. It's about £3 or £4 I think, goes on easily, stays on until you wash it off and works very nicely. My hair is darkest brown over 100% grey and I use it along my parting, 20 seconds every morning. This lets me dye once a month instead of 2/3 times a month. Fast delivery too. Cute retro packaging, mirror in case and a brush. I must have bought ten of these in the last 2 years!

Thanks for all the comments and Aalya for the guidance re shades.

Color wow is good. I use it to 'highlight' my roots when they come through. It doesn't last long though and I haven't tried any other similar brands...

It's a bit messy, I prefer the spray on ones, you can get them in Boots.

I have tried lots of different products and my favourite is Superdrug's own label root spray, which I spray onto an old make up brush and dab onto my roots. That way it doesn't feel sticky or powdery like most of them do and I can make sure they don't stain my parting either.

I really like Color Wow, and a cheaper version I found in Superdrug, although they only last until you wash your hair.
I much prefer powder application rather than a spray. I can't spray accurately around my temples , where my greys first come through, as it just sprays all over my cheeks...
