Keepsake gift around £60

My best friend wants to get me gift. I really really don't need anything but she insists.

I don't wear jewellery. I love designer bags (but they'll all be out of budget) . I like a vintage or 50s style and slightly quirky stuff like kate spade or lulu Guinness. I'd be thrilled to have MAC lipsticks but that's not a keepsake and also 'too cheap'

Any ideas? I'm loosing my mind trying to find something

A lovely mirror compact?

sourpatchkid · 27/08/2017 22:11

Oh that's really lovely but I know I'll never use it and I know she wants it to be something she kind of sees me use (I got her earrings when I married which she loves)

What about a digital radio ? Not style and beauty but would be cool! Or a 1950s style phone.
(Things I'd love but never buy myself)

There's a company that makes silver jewellery and they imprint handwriting on it. I saw one piece where they'd used the wearer's grandma's sign-off and signature, from a letter she'd written to the wearer. Absolutely beautiful and really tasteful.

A picture ? There's some lovely ones done by amateur artists on Etsy that aren't expensive but original.
