Topshop/Outfit returns

Hello!
A friend treated me to some clothes from above shops a few weeks/maybe a month ago but didn't give me a gift receipt or anything

They don't fit me, but still have tags on and haven't been worn. They are in perfect saleable condition and haven't been out of the bag apart from trying on once.

I've had a baby in that time which is why it's taken so long, but if I take them in store will they give me store credit without proof of purchase?

You can only try and they can only say no. If they won't taken them then 'new with tags' will sell well on eBay or other selling sites.

But what I'm amazed at is your friend bought clothes for someone pregnant. Surely she knows someone who was 8 months + pregnant was going to change shape fairly soon?

Agree with the ebay suggestion above. Topshop stuff sells well on there.

If the clothes are in saleable condition they will always offer an exchange, or gift voucher for outfit. I worked for Topshop through uni and that was company policy Smile

If you return the clothes to a standalone Topshop store you will probably only be offered an exchange instead of a gift card as the gift card can be spent in any Arcadia store. Burtons, Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Evans and Dorothy Perkins gift cards are all interchangeable.

Thank you!

Haha, to be fair they are a good mixture of stretchy leggings/baggy tops and dresses and maternity items.

They just don't fit right but may be ok in other sizes. If not it would be nice to treat myself to some post pregnancy clothes to see me through the awkward 'still have a bump' phase Grin
