Has anyone tried the Victoria Beckham/Estee Lauder range?

Just that, really. Her makeup generally looks amazing and it's bang on my colour scheme (I have dark hair, like a dark eye and a nude lip).

Anyone tried the illuminating cream in particular?

Oh!! I've just recommended her bronzer and highlighter on another thread!

I had a make over at the counter and I genuinely kept staring at myself because I looked so good Blush

Her bronzer / highlighter are £48 each but I got them half price when EL did that special offer a few months ago. I don't know if I'd justify the cost on the bronzer (although I do really love it) but I deffo would on the highlighter.

The packaging is gorgeous too.

Oh Ninja, you're just the person for me to talk to. Thanks so much.

Where did you have your makeover, which counter?

I am fairly well committed to Nars bronzer but I'd consider a switch. By highlighter, you mean the illuminating cream?

Have you tried any of the more heavy duty smoky eyemakeup?

Surely a VB frangrance can't be too far off.....

Her make up "looks amazing" as she had full time staff doing it for her. It's not down to the actual make up.

I've attached a photo of the smokey look I had done (I need to name change anyway! lol!). I didn't buy the smokey stuff from her though as I usually rate the benefit smokey kit and didn't think this was worth more than that to be honest.

My make over was at the EL counter in fenwicks. I've had some hit and miss ones in the past, but this lady was brilliant and I really rated her.

Have attached photo of the highlighter - it wasn't the cream though, it's a powder. I genuinely want to stroke it it looks so good in the flesh! Haha!

Agree though about VB looking amazing because she has staff - but I reckon you could replicate the look with a few good products!

You can get good smoky eyes with Bourgois eye palettes and eyeliner/kohl pencils for a fraction of the cost of VB for Estée Lauder.

I have these two shadows, midnight myrrh and bitter clove. Can be used wet or dry and I layer over creme shadow for a really strong look. These are amazingly dense pigmented shadows with great sparkle. Properly luxe. Nothing touches them on the market (I include Tilbury, Tom ford and MAC in that). Expensive tho!

Ninja, your makeup looks beautiful. Was this Fenwicks in London by chance....?

I've just ordered the Morning Aura Illuminating Creme on Ebay.

Omg. This make up looks amazing! So beautiful. I don't care what anyone says, sometimes you need to pay the £££ to get the quality!
I'm pretty sure VB is very good at applying her signature look by now without the help of 'staff' for her daily routine.
