Need new winter boots about to order these 2 pairs from next but before I do, do you think between them they will cover all/most outfits?

It depends on your style and what's in your wardrobe!

Depends on your style and whether you want to wear either with dresses/skirts. Personally I wouldn't wear either of them with skirts or dresses but both fine with jeans or trousers

I have the 2nd pair and I love them. I wear them with dresses and thick tights or leggings, didn't feel like they really suited trousers.

It's hard to say as I'm not a lover of a clumpy/biker boot!

I love the second pair and they would be great with a whole range of things - worn with skinny jeans, leggings and big chunky knitwear, with dresses and tights etc etc.
Personally I'm not too keen on the first pair but that's just personal choice, they are okay but for me I'd prefer a thinner heel for a smarter look.
