I fell in love with Simplyhuman illuminated make up mirror...Any alternate recommendations please

Simplyhuman is v expensive for a mirror......Do any of your experts have a more cost effective alternative... thanks.

I have the simplyhuman mirror and love it. It was a gift so I'm thankful that I didn't have to fork out for it. My DN has a similar one which she bought from Boots. It comes in a couple of finishes, one being rose gold. mirror from Boots £25. DN really does rate the Boots one and she's a proper beauty junkie.

I have that mirror. Have had it for 4 years and works brilliantly. It does sound the vainest thing in the world when I tell my daughters that I am recharging my mirror!

It is a terrible shock the first time you look in it and see all your imperfections and quite how hairy you are (speaking for myself). I got plucking straight away.

You do have the reassurance that you will have spotted all the bits of foundation that haven't been blended before you hit the outside world.

I think the Boots one is probably good. I know that Simply Human is incredibly overpriced. I wouldn't pay what my sister paid for their bin. Mirrors is a different matter - priorities!

nope ..it is a ridculous price but I love mine , especially in the winter when doing makeup in the dark mornings.

I used some JL vouchers I had from my cc so didn't feel so bad.

I love mine but you can fall down the rabbit hole of inspecting your chin hairs imperfections in extreeeeeeeeme close up. Just remember, no one in RL sees your pores/eyebrows/peach fuzz/milia/whatever in that close quarters.
