Gold Bangle - Cartier Love Bracelet or alternatives?

I'm looking for a simple gold bangle that can be worn everyday and that looks good with any outfit. It must be gold (not gold vermeil or plated) and fairly close fitting (I've got slim wrists so don't want it falling off) or a style that comes in different sizes rather than a one size fits all.

I tried on the new slim Cartier Love bracelet and loved it but am worried about the faff with the screws (as I don't like to sleep/shower/exercise with jewellery on) so am open to other suggestions! Something classic that will hold its value and that can be passed down to my DD when she's older. Budget is around £3K (please no 'how much' comments - I've saved for it and it will be a considered purchase around xmas time)

I've also tried on the Georg Jensen 'Torun' bangle and like the look of the Annoushka Buckle one.

Any advice or experiences of owning any of these please?

Well this is the trouble with S & B - now I really want a Cartier bracelet !! ( which I most definitely won't be getting any time soon !)
OP the Cartier love cuff and bracelets look like absolute classic styles to me - stunning!
If it's any help I wear a couple of cuffs and they would never come off they are very stable once on - though they can and do turn throughout the day.
Enjoy whatever you buy.

There's a "price increase" thread over on PF, if you're planning on getting one, I'd keep an eye on it!

Hermes does some nice bangles. How about this one m.uk.hermes.com/jewelry/gold-jewellery/bracelets/b-gold-brac-kellypm-24863.html?metal=PINKGOLD&size_hermes=SH

Cartier or Georg Jensen. Or both! Grin The problem with so many of these lovely bracelets is bloody Michael Kors....who have copied them all!

Notmymum - that's lovely but unfortunately double my budget Blush

If you do buy the cartier bangle which is 😍😍😍😍 get it from cartier for the whole sales experience. And post a pic!
Maybe try some of their other blingy offerings 🙊

Softkitty- I know I feel I would be robbed of the whole experience if DH gets it from duty free. It's our anniversary close to xmas and we normally go into London for a (boozy) long lunch then a mooch around the shops.

I will let you all know the final decision then!

Is it just me or does 'Love cuff' sound like something a little more... R18?

flickertee · 26/08/2017 12:27

Yes, the boozier lunch the better! Much easier to spend after a lil fizz haha

MooMinCow · 26/08/2017 14:17

Yes agree Flicker - replaces the "shitimspendinghowmuch" feeling with "oohitssoprettyandcomesinaprettyboxandfancybagwithabow" Grin

I had some bangles made for me by a local jeweller - set of 3 - one of which has diamonds inset - cost around your budget and were made to measure - as I have tiny wrists
