Going to Budapest for hen...

I haven't ever been on a foreign hen or a girls holiday ( past personal circumstances)..so we are off next week.. don't really know anyone apart from
Bride... I have two small dcs so I'm not too aware of what's in trend... now a days as I live in jeans and tops...

I don't want to look frumpy or out of place with amongst others... any advice on fashion / beauty??

I'm 5'2 on the plumpy side..

Also I was thinking getting gel nails and lashes done???? Too much???

It will be quite warm, 28c in the middle of the day. It is prone to some thunderstorms so would advise having a brolly with you just in case. They tend to be over with quickly though.

Touristy bits of Budapest are not very dressy. locals can manage cobblestones and ancient pavements in heels but generally I would advise not trying to do so. You will probably do a fair bit of walking, it is an easy way to get around they city, so have something comfortable.

If you want to get your nails and lashes done, why not do it? No one is really going to notice either way (I mean that nicely, people aren't going to be sizing you up and rating your nails to see what you are like as a person).

I assume you may be going to one of the thermal baths? Again, the locals in the public ones are not there for glamour, bathing suits/bikinis tend to be pretty functional rather than high fashion.

I don't know if you will have time but please try and get to the New York Cafe , the most beautiful Cafe in the world .

Ps . We walked about 10 miles a day !
