Any hair experts around?

I have very fine shoulder length hair with bleach highlights that has been really hard to manage since my last cut. Some of the hair on top seems to have snapped off, and my layers look ratty (my hairdresser seems to layer it even when I ask her not to) and my hair in general seems really lank.
So, my plan is to grow out the layers, change hairdressers and get some more gentle lowlights in place of the bleach.
Does anyone have any tips that can improve the state of my hair in the meantime? I have tried various products including Redken Extreme shampoo and conditioner and Phillip Kingsley's Elasticizer.
Thanks in advance!

Deep condition it. And also use coconut oil good for hair growth. Use it as a preshampoo 20 mins before you due to wash it.

There's a Lee Stafford range in Boots called Coco Loco which are good. They contain coconut oil. I found combing the hair mask through hair after shampooing, rinsing and then conditioning gave great results.

I also love Elvive Extraordinary oil. Rub a couple of tiny drops through the ends of towel dried hair. It doesn't weigh down fine hair but will seal the damaged ends.
