Has anyone had microblading?

My eyebrows have always been naturally different in shape and height and after years of over plucking I am now thinking of having my eyebrows microbladed.

I don't know whether I should do this locally to where I live or head to the big city of London and have it done by a 'leading expert' at twice the price.

Is there anyone willing to share their experiences with me?

I've had it done and I love the results- what would you like to know?

I'd like to see pics!

Lord - how did you find the person who did yours? Did you have recommendations to go by?

There is someone local to me doing them but I'm unsure whether I should go to London and have them done by one of the big wigs recommended via mags, bloggers etc.

I have mine done and I'm also a therapist (I don't microblade though)

To be a qualified microbader you have to carry out a fair number of practices before you get a full qualification. (I'm currently looking into doing mine)

I also ask therapist for there qualifications and insurance details. If they can't provide you will then stay well clear. Ask them
For links to their work too.

I would recommend phibrows. The training in intense and if
You go on their web page it will list all trained therapist within a certain mileage

Thanks Barbie, those are good tips. I'm following someone on instagram who is Phi Brows trained. She does look good.

Skinny your daughter's eyebrows look great and very real too. I've seen some that are very dark and thick which just won't suit me

I followed a clinic on Facebook for about 6 months looking at all their before and after pics and reading the reviews then I finally decided to go for it. You definitely need to research the clinic and not just go for one that's nearest to you because once they're tattooed on your face you're stuck with them. The clinic I used is in Yorkshire, not sure whether that's local to you?

Before I went to this clinic I was also considering using Tracy giles in London, she's meant to be the best of the best but very expensive

I have my brows done with a nano needle. My VERY wonky and over plucked brows were corrected. I wear glasses sometimes and I always thought my ears weren't level Blush. I like the result although I appreciate it's not for everyone. It's much cheaper and I can afford the maintenance top ups.

MotherFeeder · 23/08/2017 20:59

That's exactly it, they're my eyebrows and I don't want to mess up by

I looked at Tracey Giles' website today and am now wondering whether I should go to her. She is very expensive but then I reckon her therapists are doing loads of eyebrows and have lots of experience. I was very keen on Sian Dellar too (have been following her for months) but she's off on mat leave and has someone covering.
