So I've sorting myself out a bit after feeling down for a while . Got my skin care sorted and treated my self to the doublewear foundation last week . I wore it over the weekend and I just feel like something was missing . I had bronzer on but just felt like it wasn't quite right IYSWIM . Any tips on what I need ?

Highlighter?

I like the bare minerals products, they do a lovely rose gold highlighter

blusher? i look very weird with foundation and no blusher!

what other make up did you have on? i find sometimes if I have quite a heavy base on without other make up it looks unbalanced somehow?

boringbetty · 23/08/2017 18:42

I had mascara, eyebrow pencil and bronzer . Hmm never used highlighter before

is the bronzer the right colour for you?

boringbetty · 23/08/2017 19:24

To be honest I didn't know there could be a wrong bronzer colour . I thought it was pretty much all the same Confused . Looks like I need teaching the basics ha

Any eyeshadow? I need quite a bit for my colouring to look like I'm wearing it

WipsGlitter · 23/08/2017 19:49

Double wear vacancy be a bit one tone so a blusher would be good. Lipstick?

TashieWoo · 23/08/2017 20:05

Definitely lipstick, highlighter and a blusher - doesn't need to be anything too heavy just to give your face a bit of shape.

Hope you're feeling better after treating yourself Flowers

I have never worn lipstick to be honest a bit scared of it . I'm gunna head to town this weekend then and get some highlighter and blusher . Any recommendations?

Scared of lipstick?

You should embrace it. Even when everything else looks grim, lipstick sales continue to be strong - as exemplified in WW2. Its a little treat that can make you feel a million bucks.

Are you quite pale? If yes, Benefit Dandelion is brilliant. It's a brightener/blusher and is brilliant for giving a tiny bit of colour without looking/feeling too 'made up'.

boringbetty · 23/08/2017 20:37

Yes because I used to hate my teeth but having had them whitened I'm feeling a lot more confident .

Yeah pretty pale . I will try that then Smile
