Subtle gourmand perfume

As a teen I wore body shop vanilla oil and throughout my twenties I wore Angel. I'm now looking for something along the same lines but less 'in your face'. What should I investigate?

Don't laugh but Britney Spears midnight Fantasy. Has staying power too.

The fragrance library has lots of gourmand fragrances- I like lemon meringue pie and chocolate cherry . Also like Britney Spears fantasy - only time anyone asks me what I am wearing

What does Fantasy smell like? I'm not a Britney fan but I can swallow my pride!

Well on me like black cherries in syrup with a slightly musky vanilla dry down- so not too sweet.

I like gourmand perfumes like les petite robes noire and Decadence.

It has to be the midnight one though, it is the best by far. I get asked about this one too by men and women.
