Is this coat / cape nice or a bit frumpy?

That's a lot of money for something so blah imo.

MaisieDotes · 22/08/2017 18:35

I'm not against capes in general (although I wouldn't have one as my main winter coat) but that one looks as though the fabric is too lightweight.

I don't like the buttons or the colour either. Sorry!

Thank you dame and Maisie - inclined to agree now you say that!

It looks very nice but I don't think the model is modelling it well as she makes it look frumpy, which I don't think it is.
Price tag is eyewatering for something without proper sleeves Grin.

I like it. I have a similar one from Zara a few years ago.

HolgerDanske · 22/08/2017 21:00

I quite like it. But I'd like it a lot more in a camel, navy or maybe burgundy. You could make it look very good if you styled it right, I reckon.

HolgerDanske · 22/08/2017 21:00

Charcoal! Too bad it doesn't come in charcoal...

Want2beme · 22/08/2017 21:00

I love it. Right up my street.

highinthesky · 22/08/2017 21:02

What do you like about it? I suppose if you put the hood up you'd achieve the justified-ancient-of-moo-moo effect. Is that what you were looking for?

PandorasXbox · 22/08/2017 21:05

Gorgeous.

I've seen capes that are cut in more flattering proportions. That one is very square looking. The colour would also mark the moment you put it on, so adding up dry cleaning costs your per wear amount is going to be a LOT I would say.

Thanks everyone, decided to hold out for something better
