Apologies for starting yet another thread about boots. I have been trying to find a decent pair of leather boots for years and never found exactly what I want (and can also afford) but I'm wondering if I'm looking in the right places. I've looked at all the obvious high street places but I've seen a few boots recommended on here that I've never even heard of before and maybe I'm missing out on a whole world of boots! I can never describe the picture in my head so what I would like to ask you all is if you have found an awesome pair of leather boots, what brand are they?

Airstep. Amazingly comfortable leather boots, look amazing and aren't super expensive.

Anybody else? Hopeful bump

Try and give more of an idea of what you like.

I suppose biker style but more refined/toned down. Chunky ish sole (i.e one with grips) low heel or flat. Definitely black and leather. If it's a knee boot then a wide calf option as I am rather chunky of leg

Have a look on Clarks outlet site and also TKMaxx.

Squ1ggle · 23/08/2017 20:11

Thank you, I have looked not long ago but nothing doing in a size 8. Worth checking again though

Hush Puppies are also worth a look as are Hudson.

I like the same style as you describe. I have had Fly London in the past and now have two pairs of Timberland. One short and one long (not the classic timberland style!)

Thanks everyone

I also managed to get a new pair of Duo Ravenna boots on eBay for a fraction of the original price - I had loved Duo before they became over priced and stupidly named Ted & Muffy and had previously had a pair of Ravenna which I wore to death over 4 years. Might be worth looking on eBay.

Squashit · 23/08/2017 20:50

these might work?

Squ1ggle · 23/08/2017 20:59

bingo I love those, have just ordered a pair with another 20% off. Total bargain! I've also ordered a knee length pair from Clarks outlet but I'm not sure if wide fit also means wide leg so not sure if they'll zip up over my big calves. Thank you to everyone for your suggestions. I'm now a lot poorer but hopeful for comfy feet

I found Boden quite good or John Lewis for suede boots but depends what you like

bingohandjob · 23/08/2017 21:02

Mine were comfortable the moment I wore them and look great with jeans and tights/dress. Hope you love them when they arrive! Grin

Blowfish do a lot of biker style boots. Vegan though so not actually leather although they look like it.......
