Primark v Bravissimo bras

Bumblybumbly · 22/08/2017 13:08

Ive already made a thread about Bravissimo in the past so apologies.
I was measured as a 30E in Bravissimo, in Primark (for example) today I couldn't find ANY bras that were a 30, nevermind cup size.
What should i be looking for?
Help!

I'm not sure what you're asking really. High street shops like primark don't stock bigger cup sizes or smaller backs. Shops like Bravissimo exist because they do.
If you're wanting cheaper than Bravissimo, try bra stop.

Most high street shops don't stock anything below a 32 band (many start at 34!). It's to encourage people to stay in the 'bra matrx', i.e. buying from a small range of sizes which means stores don't have to stock a wider choice!

You should be able to find 30 bands in Boux Avenue. Debenhams, HoF and John Lewis though as well as on line.

If you need a small back size and are broke then the answer is to trawl the tail end of the Debenhams and M&S sales. They'll often have very cheap bras in unusual sizes for very low prices although you may have to put up with lime green with pink spots.

Mountainviewloo · 22/08/2017 13:17

You can't get bras that size in primark.

I'm a 28G so pay the Bravissimo prices and look after them!

You won't be a 30E in every bra, same as how not all size 10 jeans are the same. Boux Avenue for example - their lace bras are very stretchy in the band but other styles snug.

Urglewurgle · 22/08/2017 13:32

You might get away with a 32DD in some styles but I wouldn't bother with Primark. They don't wash very well and aren't very supportive.
M&S do some basics quite cheap but you definitely have to try them on, they're fond of making your boobs face in different directions.

look at factory outlets for the bravissimo brands on ebay.

Belle Lingerie
Lingerie Outlet store

both do freya, panache, fantasie etc at a fraction of the price of Bravissimo.

Thanks so much everyone. I didnt realise that Bravissimo did a wider range of more sizes, I just thought they were good at measuring! Shows how much i know. I'll take a look at the shops recommended now

Look at Figleaves sale section as well as Debenhams/JL. Once you find a bra style and size you like buy as many as possible in the sale. I have a ridiculous amount of Freya 30es in all colours mostly from Debenhams at 70% off. I also find Panache 28f good (but not the 30e).
