What jacket to wear with this jumpsuit for an Autumn wedding?

Hello lovely stylish MN ladies,

I am going to a wedding in a couple of weeks time and was planning to wear a jumpsuit similar to this one:

Except the top half of mine is cream. I'm not sure what kind of jacket/cardigan would look good with it? It's really lovely and flattering on so I don't want to spoil it by wearing something inappropriate but I'm assuming it's going to be a bit chilly to wear without anything by then.

Also, I have previously worn it with tan high heeled sandals but I'm not sure what would work to make it more autumnal?

Any suggestions welcomed as otherwise I think I will be giving up and buying something new instead!

I have the one in your photo. I wear it with a close fitting short jacket. Looks gorgeous and is super comfy but the whole outfit is a pain when you want to go to the toilet.

I'd wear a jacket similar to the one above but in cream to match the top of your jumpsuit.

You could get away with round toed boots underneath as it flares out.

Thank you OSET and Molly, I was kind of thinking along the lines of a short jacket so that's helpful to know others would too! I have some round toed boots but I wasn't sure about wearing black with navy?

Cream fitted blazer, red closed toe shoes, red nails, navy bag.

If the top is cream and the bottom half is navy I would wear a longline navy blazer to match the bottom half. Closed toe red heels, not rounded, and a red lip to match the shoes. How will you have your hair?

Ooh I like the red shoe idea! I was thinking red nails and lips so that would be lovely...my hair is bobbed so probably will just blow dry nicely and wear down
